22 Crenshaw, Andre RB 5-11 196 Sr. Lancaster, Calif. (Antelope Valley HS)
21 James, LaMichael RB 5-9 180 RFr. Texarkana, Tex. (Liberty-Eylau HS)
37 Loper, Craig RB 5-11 195 Fr. Eugene, Ore. (Willamette HS)
31 Shinaba, Jide RB 5-10 180 So. Victoria, B.C. (Victoria HS)
24 Barner, Kenjon DB 5-11 180 RFr. Riverside, Calif. (Notre Dame HS)
5 Alston Jr., Remene RB 5-8 200 Jr. Greensboro, N.C. (Page HS)
Crenshaw is injured and Alston is out for academic issues. That leaves us with James, a couple walk-ons, and possible conversions.

I think Lokombo is a pretty viable option at RB. He was fantastic in high school, and is strong enough to be the thunder back.

Let's just hope James stays healthy all season.

Let's just hope we can figure out this thing that they call a vertical passing game and not have to rely on our RB's as much.

Is this the same Reed from So. Medford (2003)? If so he redshirted 2003 @ Portland State, Played 2 @ the JC level, commited to OSU then backed out & played minor league w/ the So. Or. Renrgades. Just curious if it is the same. List is around 6ft & 200 lbs

We are going to need to be pass first run second that to me means we need our
best throwing QB in the game. We have to strong look at putting Costa in and
seeing if he can be a precision passer with just enough running to keep teams
honest. Masoli god love him will never be a quality passer.

we don't seem to like to take advantage of one of the best tight ends in the nation in their own position.... Might as well move Dickson behind Masoli and hand it of to him. we could even call the play "taser, run the damn ball and get us the first down"
I might be offended at first but with time and results I might be swayed

Craig Loper is actually a pretty good back.

Hell, while we are at it... if it comes down to it, just put Masoli at RB and make Costa the starter.
