USC Hires an Offensive Coordinator

Former Denver Bronco Offensive Coordinator Jeremy Bates. Very good hire for SC, I'm surprised Bates didn't get an NFL job as he did an excellent job last year for Denver. This guy scares me a lot more then Sarkisian ever did...

Actually it doesn't say he will be the OC, just an assistant. They recently promoted one of their assistants to OC. I think it was their WR coach, Morton.

True, good catch. Either way its a good hire for them. He technically wasn't the offensive coordinator for Denver either, but he still did a huge brunt of the play calling for them. Which tells a lot about him that Shanahan would be willing to relinquish play calling duties to him.

No, it was Carl Smith that did that, to the Browns I think.

You are correct, Carl Smith. Browns are suspected but unconfirmed.
