When he first committed to Oregon I thought he would be a future heisman trophy winner and would be even better than LaMicheal and at worst another Jonathan Stewart and would be a first round draft pick as well

I'd say he's up there with the likes of Lache Seastrunk and Canton Kaumatule.Blazers-1977 wrote:When he first committed to Oregon I thought he would be a future heisman trophy winner and would be even better than LaMicheal and at worst another Jonathan Stewart and would be a first round draft pick as well

Wasn’t Lache Seastrunk forced out of Oregon due to the Willie Lyles situation

He contributed. We've had other highly rated guys who did nothing or next to nothing (Kaumatule).

124 yards and two td's in the rose bowl vs undeafted FSU, I'd said he had a big impact more then Lache or Canton

And that spin move td run where he put that stanford defender on skates...how good he would have been if he didnt get derailed by the injury bug...

IMO, he is miles from being one of the most disappointing recruits ever, he had some very productive games and contributed a lot, not as much as others but more than a bunch of highly talented recruits. He dealt with chronic shoulder injuries and he simply lost his love for the game... it happens but he was a long ways from “one of the most disappointing”.

I think those who did not have their medical issues would have been significant contributors. Not disappointing but unfortunate. Others like Colvin, Seastrunk, Klovis, etc, definitely disappointing.

Tyner is nowhere near a disappointing list. OP issued a laughable premise. Fail

OP is leaving no stone unturned in understanding our current RB demise - 6 scholarship RB's and not a single one who the coaches can put the game on. If you want to play the lottery - might as well do it with the DL. Lack of QB pressure the past couple of games was showing... it starts at the DLrockthief wrote:Tyner is nowhere near a disappointing list. OP issued a laughable premise. Fail
