Oregon has landed 12 commitments since May 1. Given that the Ducks have hosted 0 visits and had 0 in-person contact during that time, it's a remarkable testament to the coaching staff's ability to adapt and thrive in any recruiting environment.

No with Cristobal recruiting it means it's more likely. Why go play with scrubs when your position group is loaded and will push you to be better and get you to the league. That's what I dont get about Clemson and their recruits. Sure, you do practice against five stars but every week you test your game against poor-mediocre teams. They do fair well in the CFB, but i think their players could reach even higher ceilings if they were testing their game skills every week against strong competition.Duck07 wrote:No with Cristobal recruiting it means it's more likely. Well there does happen to be 1 conference who does use this argument and its become more salient as the rest of the conferences haven't done so well. Part of the recruiting strategy is to simply deny that argument by pointing out that you get more work in against your teammates in practice; our recruiting has been bonkers but its been tilted towards to the lines now relative to years past when most of our higher rated recruits were of the skill position variety. This is where the difference will be for us and has been under CMC. I'm just hoping we get to see Haloti as a Coach or Grad Ast soon!alxtw wrote:

In all fairness, Clemson usually schedules at least one good non-conference team, having played Notre Dame and Georgia the past couple years. That's another reason I'd like to see the playoffs expanded. There are always some very good teams with 1-2 losses that get left out.

I'd just like to see the conference championships act as the first round of the playoffs. I'm not in favor of adding more games to the slate when the risk of injury is so high.
As for the thread topic, Keanu is a good pickup. He doesn't jump off the screen, but he's "solid" in skill, size, effort, and athleticism. I don't know if he has a particularly high ceiling, but he's got a pretty high floor.
