Been trying to trade Smith for multiple seasons, and this was the best trade offer I was given. Thorpe could be a good player with his A potential, but Garnett is the better player right now and will still get better. Future picks will add value and obviously this helps me lose more games this season

Thorpe has way more value. If u had the option, u should've taken Thorpe. Garnettt has had 4 TC's (I believe?) so he is what he is. That is, A fringe starter and/or solid 6th man on a decent team. Thorpe is already starter material and looks like he could be a beast with 1 or 2 more TC's. Plus, Garnett is expiring and Thorpe has 3 more yrs on his rookie contract.

Agreed as well. 2 late firsts and filler players for Larry Smith is poor value. Good trade for Lakers, nice for them to add a high quality starter and not give up a key young piece (Like Thorpe)

Hahaha! Both of y’all just mad you didn’t get him. Clearly Thorpe wasn’t an option and again this was the best trade available in three seasons. Worry about your own teams

I mean they are just criticizing you which they are free to do. I’ve made my fair share of bad trades and accepted my criticism for them. Good luck with whatever you plan to do in the future.

100% am all about feedback. Just saying it needs to be justified. Thorpe simply wasn’t an option, and like I said numerous times this was the best option available

I'm not dismissing it's the best you could get. Still poor value for you, and excellent value for Lakers.

And asking for MJ is still laughable. If you didn't notice, dd10snoop28, lukeyrid13, and I comment on a lot of trades. You shouldn't get too excited that we're posting in your trade thread.

And don't get frustrated when people tell you that you did a bad trade. Try to learn from it. Pretty sure us 3 GMs have 10 rings in the two DASL leagues. And you haven't even made a finals in either... I'm actually not trying to be a jerk, but your teams aren't good.
