So many people well more in the know have been saying he is a silent commit for the last two weeks. This poster a midwest analyst on Scout recently has been popping up as well with top shelf info. Honestly besides a OSU homer and Clemson homers EVERYONE points to Boyd being a duck. I know everyone says he changes flavors weekly. I don't think he does. WVU he decom'd from on his own. Well he committed too early. Tenn. not his fault as we all know. Now all he's done is thoroughly visit his top 3, give them all a fair shake like he should. IMO visiting CLemson was 100% his parents just making him check the option.
He loves CK, he loves Oregon, he has for a long time. He thinks he can compete with the QB's we have on hand. He knows CK will start the best player for his offense so he has a legit shot. Doubt he takes down Masoli his senior year assuming he's still here. But hey who knows.
So in closing I just see and hear too many people all saying the same thing. Boyd to Oregon. Everything I read seems to support that. Clemson trip an 8, not going to pull him in that late in the game with an 8. All he talked about was the horse game, and meeting Jason Witten. Not about the offense, or the OC, or facilities, or anything really football related.

The scout guy who just talked to Carla Boyd(mom) and Tim Boyd(little bro), said,
Really tOSU just left and said the same thing they have been saying. The family knows Pryor is the face of the program and Boyd beating him out is just so unlikely. So in all likelihood you can all but cross tOSU off the list.
Tajh wants to come to Oregon, still, always has, and Dad is mostly on board, mom however IS concerned with distance. It's a hurdle she is struggling with. This family is tight so currently she is the only thing holding this deal up.
This decision is around the corner fellas.

From the same source as Jhop is using. Tim Boyd (dad) loves Oregon. The only drawback to him signing with us is Mom is a little hesitant about distance. Some of Dad's comments all but right of tOSU.

You are usually more "reserved" than I am with regards to jumping on recruits/liking our chances. And I'm not speaking negatively just in a matter of terms, so with that:
you are reading the same post I am from bflenory-
what do you think are chances are here?
sounds like it's us and Clemson.

I am normally more reserved. I usually choose to believe it when I see it. The reason I am more on board here is because Baron is really connected and I know how he is and that allows me to believe the hype here. My thoughts on if we get him come down to this. Is Mom going to give the okay? She worries about distance but also finances may play in a bit as well. THey plan on moving where Tajh goes. One of the quotes was asking Baron what he spent when he moved across the country. My only worry right now is will Mom sign off? In the end I think she will because parents want the best for their kids and most are willing to take on the world to give their children the best shot at life. Oregon is clearly that "best shot", per their quotes. So that is why I am really confident.

jhop is correct... you guys will see next week. Until then, take a breath, sit back and relax, turn on some Pink Floyd, and have a brew or two.
