Hopefully! That would pretty much make BB a lock for us wouldn't it? There is no way he could consider the hiring of Langsdorf a good hire for Miami or himself....here's hoping.

Exactly what is it that Langsdorf did in regards to Quizz that will lock BB? Please elaborate.

Quizz was the player of the year and got a lot of recognition. He got plenty of touches. I don't know if that translates to "a lock" or not though.

OSU offense is not all that creative with their running game. They get the HB dive 3 yards per play mostly because everyone is chasing Rogers on the fly sweep. BB might want to get more toward 6-7 yards per carry like he would get in UO offense. He would also be more durable in our offense IMO because he wouldn't have to carry the ball 30 times per game like Jaquizz does.... Hmmm let's see... carry the ball 35 times for 100 yards or 17 times for 150.

Not to take the side of Miami or OS but he can try and sell BB on having coach quizz and also Bernard and Jackson. That's a pretty impressive group to me regardless what his offense looks like.

My understanding is that he didn't coach Jackson and Bernard didn't get drafted, so I don't know how appealing he would be to Brown.

I think he had Jackson for 1 year and Bernard was a 1000yds rusher in the Pac-10 at 5'7 195 and ran a 5.2 40 seems to be pretty impressive to get him to 1000yds. ;)

Brown, you should know this

CK > Beaver OC

IMO Qizz isn't explosive player, compare to blount and JJ they make big plays than Qizz. Landing Beaver OC isn't gonna make miami any better than us.

Langsdorf started as OC in 2005. Jackson was drafted in 2004.

Bernard and Quizz both 5'7" or below. It remains to be seen if a bigger back can be productive in his offense. McCants was supposed to be the next coming of Steven Jackson wasn't he?

You guys know and I know BB would be much better off going to UO, I'm just playing devils advocate here and telling you what Miami will probably try selling him.

I think someone with the last name Boyd has been selling Brown on Oregon and maybe this weekend we will have Boyd and be one step closer to getting Brown!

I think if Miami hires him it will probably be a lock for BB to stay. If he can do that with a guy that small and isnt a 5 star recruit imagine what he can do with a top notch player. If look at past several years the Beavers have just reloaded at RB. Everytime someone graduates think they will skip a beat and not be able to run yet inevitably they can. I do not like the Beavers anymore than anyone else but look at the facts with their running success the last several years. They are doing something right when it comes to running. I think it would be a good fit for Miami. Just giving Oregon State some credit even though I do not like them.
