Warriors picked up 3 firsts over the next two years by taking on the Mutombo contract in FA
In a years time, lets see if it was worth it

This could have been 5 other teams getting 3 firsts for free but they wanted to swing and miss in FA instead. Sad!

Loy Vaughts MLE contract picked up a better first than any of the 3 you are referring too. So if a team wants to try to sign Stephon Marbury, Steve Nash, or any of the 4 great MLEs that just got signed instead of taking 3 20+ 1sts then that's not really that sad.
