I think Stein was the first guy to offer him when he was at UTSA. So he had a long relationship with him already.

If he gets Fong'd, it's a done deal. I'm happy. Have been a fan of him and liked him the most of all the Texas QB's.

Honestly, I hate to say it, but he reminds me of a classic Chris Peterson QB.

I don’t care if Stein was his daddy, this was a great job by the staff. Novosad rejected serious pursuits by tOSU and aTm.

If he's a classic CP recruit, I'm sure Lanning and Stein could make at the very least, a serviceable backup to Bo.

A decent, reliable, arm and instincts, coupled with better mobility than the wounded Duck version of Bo would have seemed a godsend against UW and the Beavitch!
