He said he's not signing until February but is solid to Oregon now. He cited his relationship with Coach Meat as a huge factor in his recruitment.

He said he could do it later in the week or wait until February but he's in no hurry since he won't be enrolling early. He wants to run track his SR season so that explains the wait.

Ashton Cozart is a 100M guy as well so its nice to see the return of FB players with track speed to the team on both sides of the ball. Austin just posted on Twitter that he'll be signing at 2:30 today. Great news! Was nervous about him leaving the door open for other teams to swoop in.

I do wonder what happens behind the scenes sometimes with stuff like this. The transition from 'I'm in no hurry' to 'signing ceremony in a few hours' happened pretty quickly.
