Didn't someone say the other day that The JC requirements didn't change? I just don't understand this. Does this means that we will miss out on Gaines as well? I really hope that Littlejohn gets in.

This is a State of Oregon issue.

Absolutely horrible crappy news...dang I really wanted this guy! But I guess he was never really ours if he can't get past admissions! So how do we reconfigure our Admin Debt or do we just pay someone off?

You guys know exactly what we need after all of this: Commitments by Boyd, Harris, Montgomery, Diante Jackson and hopefully Bryce Brown.

I just started paying attention to recruiting after last season, so this is only my second recruiting year.

Is it always this deflating?

I know we have plenty to be optimistic about. We seriously have a great shot at the Rose Bowl this coming season... probably a better shot than any other team in the Pac-10.

But... damn. This really just sucks. How the hell did we lose Wheaton? That stings more than anything... even more than losing the CW two seasons ago. I mean, we really had no business even being in that game... but losing Wheaton? Short of saying "no, we don't want you," how the hell did we lose Wheaton?

And now we've lost this guy too.

Again, none of this is absolutely critical. But... seriously.

Is recruiting ALWAYS this bad?

Hehe. In the grand scheme of things, all of this isn't a big deal. However, I have become addicted to this board and recruiting and like everyone else here am a diehard duck fan. Recruiting has not gone well so far this time around, but it's not over.

Soap Opera is a great way to put it. The only way this gets worse is if Boyd goes elswhere and Harris surprises us and goes to USC or doesn't qualify.
