With how few top DL there are on the West Coast this season, it's easy to see why Oregon is targeting him early. Plus, he'd be Oregon's first commit from De La Salle in quite some time.

From what I've read (and looking at his offer list), he sounds like a kid who will probably continue moving up in the rankings. Wouldn't be shocked if he ended up within the top 250.

Generally considered the best DL on the West Coast this year. (It's not a great class in that regard).

Yup! Great pickup! I think Johnson will end up being ranked quite a bit higher than he is now.

He just got re-evaluated, and he went from 404 overall to 198. And he also has a 4th star.
