Calipari to Arkansas?

Very strong rumors tonight that UK HC John Calipari may be heading to Arkansas as their new coach. The MBB coaching carousel is about to be wild, especially if Kentucky targets Alabama's Nate Oats. Crazy to think the Pac-12 had a hand in this with them breaking up; that made the ACC take Cal, Stanford, and SMU; SMU fires their coach thinking they need a power conference coach and they hire USC's Andy Enfield; and USC hires Arkansas' Eric Musselman.

Ironically makes sense. Kentucky + Calipari hasn't been doing much these days.. Would be a mutually beneficial parting.

Given the perception of underperforming at a blue blood, I imagine a change of scenery on his terms was the angle.

Kentucky fans are definitely not happy they had to settle for BYU HC and former Kentucky player Mark Pope after striking out on Hurley, Oats, and Drew.

What would be the benefit to Hurley by going to UK? Makes zero sense when he can already win at UCONN, and they clearly pay him well.
