Oregon after 2024 Alabama S Peyton Woodyard Edit: QUACK!

2024 5* S Peyton Woodyard is in the portal after only being at Alabama for a few shorts months. He's got a do not contact request on his portal profile so he knows where he's going. Sounds like Oregon may lead for him with USC being close behind.

Here is his scouting analysis, courtesy of Greg Biggins via 247sports.
Woodyard is a smart, heady safety with an extremely high football IQ. He was a three-year starter for state power St. John Bosco and had a really solid senior season. He has a prototype safety frame, with plenty of room to fill out and add good weight. He played a more physical game as a senior and looked more willing to get off the hash and deliver a blow. He’s a good open field tackler, shows range in the secondary and does a nice job covering tight ends and backs. He’s a not a freaky athlete and will need to continue to improve his overall quickness and athleticism but his smarts and ability to play in all situations should allow him to see the field early in college.

Wiltfong and Nakos predicting Woodyard to Oregon. Almost feels like a lock now.

I'm going to ignore 247 downgraded him to a 3* because he transferred and say, "GOOD LAWD DAN, Oregon is a recruiting monster!!! (Or an NIL monster, either way).
