Ducks on TV in 2024-25

I just signed up for Peacock (Only because they had a deal for $19.99 for a year subscription) and Big Ten PLUS (They have a deal for 25% off with coupon Welcome24). To my understanding, there will be games on those channels that won't be hosted by any other subscription (Unless you have xfinity, then you have access to Peacock).
For football, some streaming is needed for Big Ten Network/FS/FS1/CBS/FOX (NBC is on Peacock). Additionally, for Basketball and other sports ESPN/2/U.
So if you wanna catch all the games you'll need:
-Peacock ($1.67 a month with promo)
-Big Ten+ ($8.29 a month with promo)
-Youtube TV, SLING, FUBO, Cable (~$72.99 a month)
=$82.95 a month
Crazy it's that much to watch one team all year. But if you're like me, I cancel subscriptions in April and resume them in September. So I guess not the worst.

Supposedly a streaming service focused at sports will be debuting this fall:
https://www.venu.com/
May be a cheaper option to YoutubeTV and others to watch Big Ten Net/FSs/ESPNs/Local Channels.

About the only things you can't get with it are the NBC/Peacok and CBS games.

It definitely is getting expensive being a sports fan these days. Being part of the Big Ten does have its perks as most of their big games will be on national TV while the Big Ten Network and streaming games are so much easier to find than what we had to go through in the Pac-12.

True. Antenna is nice to get CBS / NBC games, but not having DVR isn't ideal.

May not be too big of a deal if any games you missed are on Peacock and/or Paramount+ afterward to watch at any time.

I investigated online regarding Peacock a while back and it seemed that games they stream live are not recorded/preserved for later viewing. Would love to be shown I'm wrong, though.

Just googled that and I think you’re right. That’s disappointing. So no DVR for games on Peacock/NBC.

But I think you can see a 10-15 minute capsule of most any college or pro game you're interested in on YouTube within a few hours of the game's completion. Not the same as the whole recording but it's something.

Looks like Peacock keeps replays up for at least 30 days after the event.

Thanks! Hope it's correct. It certainly seems like there "ought" to be replay capability.

Big Ten+? Is that something separate from the Big Ten network?

Yes. They show all games that aren’t on TV.
Probably not a worry for football, but for basketball and other sports, it’s a nice to have.
