Oregon has landed 2025 DL Josiah Sharma. Big to get him to stay on the West Coast.

Some one on ones with Sharma in it. Oregon commit OL Demetri Manning is also in these clips (he looks pretty raw).

Sharma is a big boy, but you can see his technique arsenal is limited. When his initial move is a success he gets to QB quickly, but when it wasn't he was shut down. If Sharma gets some good coaching and development in year 1, I could see him playing early.

I heard he is a year ahead of his school level and is still growing into his body and learning how to move. I remember another defender named Patrick that did the same thing and he turned out pretty good for both the Ducks and the NFL.

Sharma is visiting Texas this weekend.

It's a verbal, means nothing. I don't get too happy or too upset when a prospect verbals anywhere because it doesn't mean much until signing day. The Ducks will be fine. Best of luck to Josiah.

Damn. Sizable loss. He's a really good DL on the West Coast (rare) and plays for the top program in Northern California.
