Oregon's offensive line is one of three finalists for the Joe Moore Award, which they should have won last year. Army and Texas are the two other finalists, and I could realistically see it going to any of the three. (Reminder/random factoid: everyone on Army's offensive line can run 2 miles in under 13 minutes, per military standards).

A number of others are semi-finalists and finalists for various awards if folks don't mind chiming in.

Kirby Smart. That makes me laugh.

If you are going by teams you never thought in a million years would be where they are today, versus last year, it has to be Dilly or Cignetti.

Definitely agree. Should be Dilly. Cignetti has done a good job and wouldn’t be the worst choice, but Dilly took over a program going through sanctions and actually won his conference this year.

T-Mac has had a great year as well but there is something about being the consistent, Edge force on the #1 team in the nation who also is the only team to beat 4 teams in the Top 25.

Dillon Gabriel won the Chicago Tribune Silver Football Award, which is handed out to the top Big Ten player. It's an award that's even older than the Heisman.
