Yeah. And I wish I knew just how good. The main difficulty for me is that the B1G appears to be a relatively weak softball conference, with only the Ducks and UCLA in the top ten and then Nebraska and Ohio State down in the 20s. (SEC is the softball conference, placing 7 of the top 9 and led by Mike White's Longhorns at a unanimous #1.) The Ducks, at #5, have indeed taken care of business against highly ranked foes, beating Tennessee at a neutral site and Florida State twice at the Jane. Yet in the RPI, the Ducks only stand at #21 -- though other schools aren't necessarily where you might expect them to be in the RPI either, with Texas at #6 and UCLA at 14 (but Ducks-defeated teams Florida State is strong at #5 and Tennessee is #12).
Would love anyone to shed any light on any of this.

Ma'ake has a beautiful swing. She is wonderfully exuberant. She is a Freshman so good things are coming in the next seasons.

This team is looking like the great teams, White's teams, from a decade or so ago. Coach Lombardi has done an incredible job. She left the power team in the sport to take over a team that was in ruins and look where it is now!
