Playing UCLA means two teams who know each other pretty well.

Three games at The Jane, Oregon won the first, 3-1, then the teams traded Run Rules, UCLA won game 2, 8-0 in 6. Oregon took game 3, 9-0 in 5.

Every team is dangerous, but the three I would be most afraid of are Oklahoma, Tennessee (Pickens hit 79mph against Nebraska, the equivalent of 111 in baseball) and Texas Tech. Oregon drew only one of them, we've got the best shot we could ask for.

Five of the eight teams in the WCWS are indeed from the SEC, with Ole Miss not being one of the original top 16 seeds.

Being the mentally toughest team seems like the best option for this squad that does a little bit of everything really well.

After a rough stretch, Grein's performance in the deciding game against Liberty was a very positive sign, and the Ducks are getting production through the line-up. Great to have McCoy back.

Game finally started at 7:48 but the lights have gone out twice in the B1. Going to be an interesting game with all the strange happenings so far.

Ducks struck first with a Luschar RBI single but UCLA answers with a two out, 2-run HR in the 4th. Oregon now trails 2-1.

Oregon's bats have been quiet since the 3rd inning and are now down to their final three outs. Ducks are just chasing way too many pitches tonight against a pitcher they battered the last time they faced her.

Sokolsky gets out a 2 on & no outs jam by getting the bunter, striking out another, and Oregon catching UCLA's runner on 2B too far off base before getting the runner on 3B. Ducks' offense has to get going now in the 7th.

Sinicki is on to start the inning. Patmon then bunts her over to 3B.

Blah. Hate to tie it up in THAT manner. Obviously, you'll take it, but scored on a technicality.

Tie game as the Ducks benefit from a review reversal of an obstruction at the plate.
