Outside of 2025, they were also top 4 in the WCC ERA since 2021. Last year was not a great year on the mound for them.

If anything, Oregon has hired someone of equal talent to Hawksworth. We'll see if he can produce All-Americans at Oregon like he did at USD now that he's got a lot more resources.

Right, that's kinda where I'm at. A slightly above average hire, but has some potential since he'll have more talent to work with at Oregon. Hope he does good things here.

Who was the pitching coach when they had good pitching?

Andrew Checketts, Dean Stiles, and Jason Dietrich were all of Horton's pitching coaches when they had good pitching. Oregon just never had great offenses.

Rumor has it Oregon tried to get Stanford pitching coach Thomas Eager but the deal fell through at the end.

Horton"s pitching coaches had the luxury of playing in a spacious PK Park. Moving fences in changed everything!

Also sounds like their top pitchers, Reddemann and Scolari have entered the portal. Gotta wonder if Oregon will scoop in here.
