I hope everyone feels better after watching Ducks vs. Them

If you read between the lines of the video it would appear that in cutting up the all-22’s of the IU game, a lot more frustrating teachable moments popped up than even the staff initially expected. That’s just the vibe I got. They aren’t gonna blatantly show that because Dan won’t allow it to be an excuse (or even make it look like they are subtly trying to make excuses) and in reality, when you have this level of raw roster talent, teachable moments are explanations, not excuses.

That makes me feel a lot better moving forward.

Also, I love how Dan and the staff take ownership to the players that they as a staff didn’t have a good enough plan and they own it as well.

Yeah it was one of my faves, I especially love that Dan told the players they need to give them a better gameplan. It feels like the first step was everyone, coaches and players, needed to address they didn’t do their best and need to improve, and then they moved on to the “tough” film study.

Also, not sure why, but I found it interesting the film review was in the Moshofsky center instead of the Hatfield-Dowlin complex.

Without trying to sound like I’m disrespecting what is clearly a Top 5 team in Indiana, the whole D vs T video was giving “damn, we all really crapped the bed as a progrum for whatever reason”.

This might be cocky, but I think if we play Indiana again it will be a lot like Round 2 of us vs AZ in 2014.

That games was a comedy of correctable errors that you cannot make against a team of Indiana’s caliber.
