Re: Dante Moore broke his nose
That was my guess with how long it took to get the bleeding under control (17 minutes in the injury tent) and then them not risking putting him back in. I could see them have him wear a different mask and/or visor to help protect his nose.

I don't suppose we'll be seeing the Gary Andersen style facemasks againgreenyellow wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 3:58 pm That was my guess with how long it took to get the bleeding under control (17 minutes in the injury tent) and then them not risking putting him back in. Hmmm- this has not surfaced on any other message boards or anywhere on social media.
Not disputing that it did not happen but assume ‘others in the know’ would have put it out there as well.
More curious than anything else and please note this is no attempt to disparage the OP.

I don’t know, Mendoza facemask is almost as stupid as that one. I’m surprised he wears it. It looks like it downs so much to protect himDuck07 wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 5:13 pmI don't suppose we'll be seeing the Gary Andersen style facemasks againgreenyellow wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 3:58 pm That was my guess with how long it took to get the bleeding under control (17 minutes in the injury tent) and then them not risking putting him back in. I think Fernando wears the same one as Mahomes from what I can tell. Big difference for NFL QBs is the Defense's have learned over the years they can't touch the QBs the same way in college and while I don't think it was a malicious hit on Dante, he's sure learned a big lesson in protecting himself and hopefully won't get skittish as a result.

Not sure when this might have been recorded but merits consideration
