(article pending, races just finished)

For the women, it was utter domination. Freshman Diana Cherotich placed first overall, trailed by 16 seconds by teammates Juliet Cherubert and Silan Ayyildiz. Overall, the Ducks' women's team finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th. Only the top 5 score, so the 9th place finish was just to make everyone else look even worse.

On the men's side, Oregon senior Abdel Laadjel took 1st, with the Ducks' men's team also capturing 4th, 6th, 12th, 13th (and 17th for good measure).

The USC women tried to match the dominance of the Ducks but for finishing in last place. 97 113 119 121 122. Unfortunately Rutgers 7th entry came in 120th preventing USC from sweeping the bottom 3 positions.

Shows the importance of sprints in track and field championships over distances as USC is the defending B1G women's T&F champs.

Now that Oregon has Hayward back and a coaching staff with a lot of cross country/long distance expertise, it feels like the Ducks will be a threat to win the Big Ten every year.

They are running today in Columbia Missouri.
