I saw one opening line with us at 21.5

Now time to see how much tickets cost.

I'm most curious about injury status though I don't expect to hear much if anything. Not going to be a real issue until the following weeks...

Oregon vs. Liberty is the best precedent I can think of for this game. I just hope the team isn't as overconfident as I am.

STU beat me to it. Great point & I thought the same thing when I saw the matchup.

I think Dan will have them ready to rock. I think Autzen will be pretty fired up too, even though a lot of the students will be home for the holidays.

Let’s just hope for DRY.

My hope is we see a team that is player-led in this one, focused and methodical. The JMU CB's are probably their strongest unit from watching this Louisville game at least.

Matthew Sluka is the UNLV QB who left last year over a NIL dispute

#28 RB Jobi Malary is from Greshman

This game will be interesting. It could be a blowout...or it could be a trap game that we lose if we are overconfident.

I hope we win this game and come out of it injury free.

That said, "if" we win, we'll be traveling to Miami, FL for an Orange Bowl game vs Texas Tech. THEN, "if" we're fortunate enough to beat a very good Red Raider team, we'll then have to travel all the way back to Atlanta, GA to likely play Indiana. That's a lot of miles.

I agree with that statement, but not exceptional. They are solid at all three levels with a defensive end who I expect to transfer to a major program next year if he still has eligibility. Their defensive tackles are solid so we may run more to the edges than up the middle than you'd expect.

Offensively, their line matches their level of recruiting. The receivers aren't special. The running back can break a 60 yarder even against a team with Oregon's defensive speed. The quarterback has many of the same characteristics as Dante Moore - pass first, mobile and has some speed but doesn't look to run.

The strength is the defense. They put up 14 on Louisville, which I think was before they fully moved on from Matthew Sluka to Barnett who is more of a passing threat. Not sure it makes a huge difference against a team like the Ducks. Ducks should win big.

Great news! Major improvement from most of the clowns we've had to listen to this season (although a few of them have been good).
