Unfortunately, this will probably be equivalent to a home game for the Zags as they actually have good fans that’ll turn up to the game. They travel well, while Duck fans don’t even show up to their own arena. Hopefully the Ducks can keep it competitive though.

So far ducks playing well, they just simply aren’t defending the 3 ball. Way too many open looks for Gonzaga.droop10 wrote:Unfortunately, this will probably be equivalent to a home game for the Zags as they actually have good fans that’ll turn up to the game. Simpkins is the only player that hasn’t looked good. Forced a few bad shots and isn’t paying attention on defense.
Get ready for some sided officiating, Few has these refs in his back pocket.

Oregon now leading 33-30 at the under 4 timeout. Amazing how well they're playing after that rough 5-game skid.

This is the best I’ve seen Bittle and Evans play this season. Seems like they finally realized their size and strength. Early in the season Bittle was posting way too far from the hoop, that’s not the case now. When he takes the entry pass he’s already in great position.
When Simpkins plays within his role he’s such an asset to this team.

It helps that Bittle looks to finally be healthy after his ankle injury from the Players Era Festival.

Seems like Shelestad saves his worst for when his teammates play their best….

Not a great finish to the half for Oregon with multiple bad turnovers due to Gonzaga's pressure. Lucky to be down only 3 (on a buzzer beater) after those rough final 3 minutes. Ducks are in it but they have to clean up a few things.

Not the worst to be trailing by 3. For the most part Oregon has played well and sorta outplayed Gonzaga. Turnovers and poor perimeter defense are why Oregon is trailing.
Before anyone complains about Oregon being unlucky and their opponent always having a great shooting game against Oregon, there’s a reason for that. Our guards get stuck watching the ball constantly and lose track of their guys allowing for open 3 pointers. It’s been this way for years at Oregon I don’t expect it to suddenly change.
If Gonzaga can cool down and if Oregon can keep the physical play and energy they can come out on top.

Too bad on the final shot of the half, but overall I liked how the Ducks have played so far (I'm here at the game). I mean, the Ducks are 12-13 point underdogs for a reason. I just hope they play smart and stay competitive throughout the game.

Anyone have a link to a free stream as the one I was using was garbage and now it won't show the game again.

Very rough start to the half, ducks are crashing without getting a body on someone and Gonzaga is getting WAY too many offensive rebounds. You can’t come back if you don’t rebound. Meanwhile offensive sloppiness continues. Shelstad is playing faster but he simply isn’t able to lead and facilitate an offense. This team doesn’t have a true PG unfortunately, just a bunch of scorers at guard.
