Chris Harper has a breakout season next year, it could very well help us play in a BCS bowl? Man the kid just has so much talent and potential...I've got a very good feeling about next year...

I agree. I think he'll be more settled & resigned to the fact of being able to translate to the next level. Sometimes it takes a bit to understand how your gifts would be best put to better use elsewhere and embrace that change. He is so talented, it's mind boggling. He can be used in so many ways - wildcat formations, you name it. It will be exciting to watch!

Absolutely. We need to settle on a position for him ASAP and get him ready to go. He's got the potential to be our best offensive player next season and that's really saying something!

I believe Chris' position will be greatly affected based on what happens on NLOI Day... Stay tuned for more!

I agree. If we Brown commits then Harp would probably be a WR, but if he doesn't, he'd most likely be a RB, especially now that it looks like Marshall has committed to ASU

I think Harper stays at wide receiver unless injuries pile up elsewhere. We already have Blount, James, Crenshaw and Alston for next season.

if we didnt get rb in this class, You can see Harper split time on WR/RB or even wildcat formation.

I just wanna see kid with the ball in his hands more....Personally I think he would be pretty sweet as an RB.....can't wait to see him lined up all over the field

Harper was sort of already running the Wildcat formation when he was in. You knew that he wasn't going to throw it and that he was either going to keep it or hand it off in an option. I was sure glad when Masoli was finally able to show an ability to pass the ball. It made Oregon's offense a lot more dangerous than when Harper was trying to be a throwing QB. His shoulder injury should have made coaches rethink his ability to throw.

I hope Harper takes kickoffs.

I strongly believe that CK WILL script Masoli's check-offs toward Chris's and Dickson's as primary througout the Spring. Masoli will be able to read d's much better after getting the majority of the snaps this spring. Last year he came into the games with very little time under center/1st's as he was beind Costa and Roper...etc. This year should be much different and CK now knows Masoli better as well.
