Civil War Question ~

Post by MFRDuckFan »

Silly question. Civil War is now on a Thursday night. Where do we park now? We usually park down by the Cooler on Saturdays, but all people who fill those parking lots M-F will be working. Any suggestions? It's gonna get ugly........

The Masonic Temple (just north of the stadium where Centennial curves south) usually has some spots available. I have a season pass/reserved spot in their lot, its nice, they open up and let cars park waaaay before the 4 hour rule in the stadium lots. I think they charged $50 per car last season?!?

GO DUCKS! :D

We usually only have to pay $10 in the parking lot of the new center there behind the Cooler. Bummer!! It just hit me that it's going to be a nightmare trying to park. Hopefully those who chose the Thursday night will get it figured out. Right!!!

You could always park at a park and ride bus station...the busses have there own lanes so it'll get you back to your car quick...We park in the Mason's too and it's great...they let you in Friday night and you don't have to leave til sunday at 11 and there even leniant about that...Kinda sad not parking in the stadium parking lot anymore as it is a different experience and I miss it alot but they tripled the price and made it so you could only have one spot.

Wow!!! You are really planning ahead, aren't you? Most of the fans are outraged that its being changed to Thursday night. Its not we dont have 11 freaking months to prepare for it, sheesh. I don't know about fans sometimes, it's just refreshing somebody wondering where they are going to park instead of complaining about gameday being changed.........Go Ducks!!!! :D
Oh gosh!! I was just looking at the schedule & thought oh NO!!! I like to have everything all laid out so there's no stress & nothing but fun. You would have to pry those tickets out of my cold, dead hand for me not to go. :D I'll have to check into the park & ride locations to ensure ease of use for me.........MFRDuckFan. Yeah!

My wife "caught" me flipping through the calendar the other day, she asked what I was doing, I told her to "not worry about it, haha". She said, "you're looking to see show many days until the Ducks start arent you?". Sure enough she was right. Im a total loser. Hahaha....

BTW, there's 221 days unitl kickoff, and 228 days until gameday at Autzen. :D :D :D

Park on campus and walk across the bridge with everyone else, or you can park at the Emeralds stadium and take the bus from there as well. not sure if you were trying to tailgate at your car cause this would cause a problem, but i usually just carry a case of beer over and meet up. Either way you'll be able to get out of there faster because the traffic is all stacked up on MLK.

Typically hang out at the Mashof, so that might be a good solution. I'll check it out. Thanks!

We get there a few hours early so we can hang out at the Cooler & the Moshof in order to get liquored up. :)

I'll keep my eyes peeled for emails from the ticket office because I'm sure they're trying to figure it all out. Looks like ESPN will covering the game according to GoDucks.com.

Gotcha.

By 6pm that area is usually cleared out, but I hadn't even thought about tailgating. d'Oh!

There is always Alton Baker Park which is right across from there....I think they charged $10-15 last year.

I don't have one myself, but I don't do a lot of out-of-the-area road traveling either. They have become quite affordable though.
