How much does the DL depth chart enter in to his choice?

He is down to Oregon and ASU.

ASU currently has 8 returning DL on the roster... 4 of those are current freshman, 3 are sophomores, and 3 are juniors. They also have current commits from 3 star Willie Sutton and 5 star Corey Adams (Anothe kid tOSU thought was a lock).

Oregon, on the other hand, currently has commits from 2/JC DTs, Andrew Iupati, and Terrance Montgomery, as well as Karrington Armstrong (All 3 star athletes) to go along with returning 2 freshman, 3 sophomores, and 2 juniors.

Gotta wonder what could be keeping a good DT from commiting to Oregon, given the numbers. (Unless it has to do with the current defensive coaching regime.)

Hope the addition of the new staff will improve recruiting in this area.

Not to be a negaduck but the way things have been going as of late I think even with the depth the Devils have he will choose ASU.

Using common sense and logic, he should pick up Oregon.

But....

Well, it would be gr8 to hear from him, in the way of a commitment, come the 4th.....
Did he ever make the trek to Eugene...? I read something about him having to retake his SAT's and thus he couldnt make it as previously planned...But that he wished to reschedule...
Any scoop on this matter?

Karrington Armstrong is going to the O-line (according to all reports). Greatwood confirmed it the other day. Mentioned that he had 4 commits.

Anyone know what time he is set to announce?

No announcement, just calling the coaches and letting them know. Per Justin Brown on scout article I believe.
