Possible RB ?

ATH Shawn Bodtmann, 6'0"/205/4.58
Plays RB and LB in HS. Ran for over 1,500 yards and 25 TD's.

I highly doubt the coaches will take a RB this year, much less one that they really haven't been in on. Plus, the fact that he is on the east coast also makes it unlikely for them to take him. I think the coaches will wait for RBs in the 2010 class unless Bryce Brown commits in March.

He got injured and lost a lot of weight from what i heard, not really in shape to play next year. Doesn't sound like a guy we'd offer. If Marshall didn't get an offer i don't see how this guy would.
Why did you start this thread? if you don't mind me asking. Is this just a random guy or do you know something i don't . . .

Marshall did have an offer; it was just never reported by Scout. Mops said that Marshall's offer wasn't conditional on us getting Brown. ASU had a big in with him since his sister is already there.

Interesting, didn't know that. I never really liked Marshall and i'm glad he didn't choose us. The guy didn't seem to understand what the term "break a tackle" meant.

I was thinking the same thing, yeah, let's offer a random white guy that is barely fast enough to be a LB because he got 1500 yards rushing in HS football. I think it is obvious that our standards for RB's at Oregon are through the roof now with the proven roduction on the field from the last 2 years.

Actually MOPS said Marshall's offer was unconditional and that we wanted to take both him and Brown...Kinda like when we took JJ and Snoot
