“This is an exceptional class that has joined our program for the 2010-11 academic year,” head coach George Horton said. “The 2010 class should instantly help our young program as it continues to grow. I have to give all the credit to assistant coaches Andrew Checketts and Mike Kirby for evaluating the best talent in the country, and bringing those student-athletes to the University of Oregon. The class includes an exemplary group of young men that are committed to success both on the field and in the classroom. Our staff and players are looking forward to working with this special group of fine young men.”

Wow that's ridiculous. I think Oregon baseball is the real deal. The fact that we can compete and recruit like this after just 2 seasons is actually mind blowing.

We don't even have that many commits, yet we are one of the top classes in the country.

It's Horton's 3rd straight top-15 recruiting class so nobody can say you can't get good players up here at a brand-new program.

Chip has the football program on the path to a NC...... It is looking as though Horton has the baseball program headed in that direction, CC has already won titles recently, Track and Field is close, Golf, Women's BB, Volley Ball, Softball and Soccer are all looking good....... hopefully DA can get the Men's BB program competitive quickly (a NC may not be in the cards but a Final 4 would be sweet......... or at least just an appearance to begin with)...... Now that the University is competitive in just about every sport PK and company can start working on the academics and make UO a academic and sports powerhouse!!!! ;)
