So that's Lane 2 Sarkisian 2 for those of us keeping score at home.

Guess what the punishment for each of them was........... to review the NCAA recruiting policies handbook.

Also of note. The UW WR coach had a change of heart and returned to Utah after 3 weeks. Also the "new" OC Jim Michalzik didn't even stay for practice and took the Raiders OC job instead. Funny how this all worked out after signing day.

It still cracks me up that Pete has a recruit say that USC did the same thing in a national interview and nothing happens, yet all of his assistants do the same thing and get nailed for it.

Most programs self-report about 5 of these minor violations a year, it's just to cover their arses... usually no punishment comes out of it.

I actually feel bad for Sark and I like Kiffen (sorry I'm a Raider fan) and we need both of these teams back in order and winning so when we play them there are no excuses!

Its been very hard and I cry a lot...

In all seriousness, I watch CFB more than the Pros and now that I have kids which coincidentally is about when their downfall started, I don't have time to worry about the Raiders and the crazy old man the runs them. I loved the guy in the eighties and nineties but now the product on the field is just awful to watch!

It's really sad what's happened to the Raiders...they've got great history, great fans and an owner who's not afraid to spend money. If Al Davis would just step back and let a GM do the job they could be a great franchise again.
