I was getting all excited about the Brown news and then I have to read about this. These are 2 players that we absolutely have to have for next season.

Considering Pritchett has had multiple issues, he is getting dangerously close to being a former Duck.

I guarantee it's academics & Blount, at least, will be back with the team soon. Something like this seams to always happen during the off-seasons.

I'm not saying its this. But pure speculation, they may have skipped a drug test or something similar.

I don't think its grades because if it was, this would have been an issue a month ago and not wk 6 of winter term.

from the times ive hung out with blount hes a pretty nice guy. but from what i heard they both got into some trouble together over the weekend.

Iside sources say this is a pre emptive slap to get him to tow the line. Not major offense here and not academically ineligible, yet. If one the behaviors continued it could lead to ineligibilty. It is serious...but not at the same time.

I hope both of them are with Oregon once the season starts. Pritchett could only help Oregon's defense on the field, although he seems to always have issues. I cannot even imagine what things would be like without Blount, especially if we were to miss on Bryce Brown.

Perfect time for a suspension, this is a wake up call move.

It never ceases to amaze me how these gifted athletes have all the talent in the world but they refuse to use the brain they were given and stay within the team rules. I dont think it is a matter of whatever it is being a gray area. I am sure the coaches lay out just what is expected and required of their athletes yet they continue to try to evade the rules and do stupid things. Is there a part of the rule books the coahces give them they do not understand or do they just stupidly ignore the rules. If i had the talent I would love to have a full ride and have the oppurtunity to play a college sport and would not have problem doing what rules say can and cant do.
