What a pitching performance from not only Thrope, but also Jones and Sherfy.
Great game 1. And nice to see the bats go big in game 2.
Sweep time!

teeny tiny dimensions and a little outgoing wind = home run derby.

Re: Oregon @ California (Ducks lead series 2-0)
Definitely a great week for Oregon. They get the win at Goss in the middle of the week, and then get a sweep on the road against an opponent that they should beat. Even though Oregon lost the ASU series, this has still been a very productive set of games on the road.
Going to miss the Maehl Man

Re: Oregon @ California (Ducks lead series 2-0)
thomas .293
payne .241
healy .352
tolman .348
heineman .291
baumgartner .282
graham .200
hoffman .238
altobelli .283
very comfortable with what the top six hitters + alto are bringing to the table. remember the first few weeks when only healy could hit the ball out of the infield? this group is rounding into form. payne's average has been jumping each week. hoffman has his moments, and graham is both A.) improving, and B.) doing well behind the plate.
so far, so good on the pitching swap.

Yeah great week. 2 road games against Portland and then hosting UCLA and Stanford. Potential to continue what we got going the next 2 weeks.thomas time wrote:Good to see them beat one of the lower teams, great series sweep ducks
