As far as I am concerned when they came back to tie the score in the 4th quarter, they became winners in my mind!!
But we have to turn the corner, bigger lineman, bigger defensive players, and we will make the next step.

This is my first day home from Scottsdale. I'm still depressed. I think I was in denial the last few days. Can we have a redo? :(

Offense inside the 5

Post by SahalieFallsClearLake »

How about a quarterback sneak? How about a quick hitting running play? The zone read inside the 5 is too slow to develop. Have to give credit to the quick and effective tackling by Auburn on the outside. They are big AND FAST.

Great come back to tie the game ducks! I see the Ducks lose Matthews and Maehl, but James and Thomas are back. Both Matthews and Maehl had great plays they can take pride in going forward.

Here's to roses next year! Cheers.

Going over twitter and saw some things from Nick Fairely's twitter that jumped out at me.

Q: How many SEC teams could beat Oregon?
A(Fairely): In the West Prolly all except 1.

Fairely:
"Lol. I see I hurt some feelings when I said All but 1 team in the SEC West could beat Oregon...Got a lot of tweets sayin 'AU only won by3'"
"I said that because the SEC is a tough league. Oh and remember we dropped/over threw 2 TDs that BCS game."

That was one of his nicer tweets. His others were talking about using LaMichael's head to help himself up, etc. Not much class. You would never find one of our players saying anything of the kind. Knowing how karma can be such a bi*ch, Mr. Fairley will eventually learn that life isn't all roses. Guys at the next level will make sure he learns the lessons of respect very early.

I hate statements like that, because they go both ways. Oregon was on the one yard line and couldn't get a touchdown after 4 downs. That almost never happens, so really we should have won the game by your logic, Fairley.

Really do hope he gets taken out hard during an NFL game, not knocked out for the season, but hard enough to know he can't get away with certain sh*t.

NFL teams in general have a history of sending messages to rookies during training camp.

Ya that makes him look stupid cause Oregon had a share of their own mistakes where they could say if we didn't this or that the game would've been different.

Does any unbiased person need any more evidence that Fairley isn't the brightest bulb on the tree?

Yall would probably beat UPig because Mallet would choke the game away.

But no chance against LSU, Moo St. or Gumps. Not going to run for 300 yards a game in the SEC with those tiny RB and Olinemen. Penetration disrupts your O and all those teams have at least 2 NFL Dlineman.

The thing is, I don't think we need to run for 300 yards to beat those teams. Miss State and LSU have no offense. We will find out in September if Oregon has 'no chance' against LSU.

LSU can run the ball, they have no QB. They are going to line up and run the ball right at yall from the I formation and dare you to stop it. Can you stop it? Speed on D is negated by running right at it.

LSU has a front 7 that is as good as AU. But the secondary is much better (no Neiko to pick on).

But yall have a huge advantage in coaching. Lester the clock molester is going to do something to screw that game up.

I will be pulling for yall. The meltdown on tigerdroppings.com will be epic. Calls for Les to be fired after 1st game. I see yall in the NC game again and winning it this time.
