Re: Oregon vs Auburn National Championship Thread
Players on winning teams can say whatever they want in retrospect, without regard for razor thin margins of victory, or ridiculous officiating, etc. It is best not to let the guy get to you. We all know SEC fans tend to get drunk on their own moonshine. I'm not sure the ducks will be humming on all cylinders the first game of the season, but I have a feeling the bowl games for the next few years are going to be different.

Typical pompous ass crap....Let me tell "y'all"..the AU fans sitting directly behind us were scared....make that damn scared....that they were gonna lose the NC game....And, I doubt they were the only ones....lol....
The only thing bigger than the SEC is their egos....

Re: Oregon vs Auburn National Championship Thread
We lose to AU by a FG with no time left so now we have "no chance" against average Sec teams? Get over yourselves. We were a few plays or bounces away from beating the best the Sec had. Even with our "small" RBs & Lineman. Those "small" lineman sure put a hurting on $cam Newton too, he actually went to the hospital after the game cuz his back was so messed up.WokDontRun wrote:Yall would probably beat UPig because Mallet would choke the game away.dd10snoop28 wrote:Going over twitter and saw some things from Nick Fairely's twitter that jumped out at me.
Q: How many SEC teams could beat Oregon?
A(Fairely): In the West Prolly all except 1.
Fairely:
"Lol. I see I hurt some feelings when I said All but 1 team in the SEC West could beat Oregon...Got a lot of tweets sayin 'AU only won by3'"
"I said that because the SEC is a tough league. Oh and remember we dropped/over threw 2 TDs that BCS game."
But no chance against LSU, Moo St. or Gumps. Not going to run for 300 yards a game in the SEC with those tiny RB and Olinemen. Penetration disrupts your O and all those teams have at least 2 NFL Dlineman.

It may be lame, but it was never intended as a complement...

We've got a handful of monikers for them.
Most recent being Harveys, Updykes, or Crimson Updykes.
Other names: rednecks, turds, mullets, bammers, bamzos, etc.

Yall were also a few plays away from being blown out. See how that works both ways.
And yall averaged over 300 yards rushing during the season, but only managed 76 against Auburn.
Cam did not go o the hospital. He was not even hurt. Just did not what to answer questions. What reason is there to get an xray on one's back? Xray only shows bone. Did they think he cracked his vertebrae?

A little late for this crap isn't it? But since you want to play the "what if" card, you were just one smart decision by the NCAA away from not playing in the championship game or not having Newton for the game.

He seems more like a stupid Bammer or SEC homer than an actual fan.Icculus wrote:Can't believe people are responding to "wokdontrun" with any sincerity.

Yes, Cam was injured. They stated that he had to leave the post-game interview session because he had to have x-rays performed. You can see during the game that he was in pain. Did you watch the game really?Yall were also a few plays away from being blown out. See how that works both ways.
