Kuedell got pegged in the thigh at the start of the 6th and didn't quite look the same. Still, he got a fly ball that probably should have been caught for the final out of the inning but Sabol took a horrendous jump on it, and it ended up flying over his head and 'Furd got two runs out of it. Bit o' bad luck there.

... and Aaron Jones badly misplays a ball in right, and it's an 8-7 game. The freshmen outfielders are killing us. You CANNOT do that to your pitcher.

8-8, Boer can't stop the bleeding in the 7th. In Oregon's half of the inning, two Ducks watch strike 3's zip past them. So aggressive/productive early, so passive and terrible late.

Can't believe how badly Oregon is blowing this game. I left after the 5th inning with them still up 8-1, but now down 9-8 in top of the 9th. No wonder Horton is beside himself this season. This team just can't hold a lead, unlike last year.

Pretty darn pathetic. This team really needs to be better with their relief pitching and defense next season.

They literally gave that game away! What horrible play by our hitters, fielders and pitchers from the 6th inning on. Moen faced 6 batters with a FOUR run lead and gave up 4 hits and 4 runs. I can't even begin to imagine what Horton must be feeling right now. Three implosion innings in a row. Stanford got VERY lucky today! Against anyone else, that would have been a loss for them.

You need to throw in run support too. After a great start, we didn't get a hit after the 5th inning. Story of our season - Great starting pitchers had off to relievers who blow leads and get no help from our hitters and/or fielders. One mistake is followed by a second, third and sometimes fourth. Stanford got two errors to go ahead and once they are ahead, you know we won't score. This one takes our sucktitude to a whole new level though.
