I don't think they would be allowed to wear those during games. I am sure they are for practice to somehow help in developing the QB. I am not sure how it is going to help though.

FYI- CU was the first team to sport Nike in the mid 90's and has been getting allot of the new stuff right along with us as far as state of the art unis go.
