Looks like the Jags took advantage of the FA's. They've got quite the list.

9 players either drafted or picked up as a FA. Guess Bryce Brown was right, we don't develop guys for the NFL. Sorry, couldn't resist....

Not to bad..... Ohio State had 7 drafted and USC had 11 so for a small program that runs the NFL unfriendly "spread offense" to have 5 guys drafted and 3 others taken in free agency says a lot about the direction the program is headed.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Tennessee players were drafted or picked up as a FA?

Good question. Although, JJ not getting drafted doesn't help out our recruiting much. Hopefully, he will make the team.

1 drafted 4 taken in FA for a total of 5.... not too great for a program with such tradition!

Cool, thanks guys. 6 guys drafted and 3 others signing with teams is pretty darn good. Our program continues to fly under the radar, yet the experts will continue to gush over a team like Tennessee.

The ESPN guys were also bad mouthing the spread offense and how it will not translate to the NFL. We are already starting to see the Wildcat with some Pro teams. I believe it is only a matter of time as more and more high school and college teams are using the spread offense that it will start to be incorporated into a lot of NFL schemes and eventually will be a fixture in the Pro's and players like Dixon, White, Tebow, etc. will be stars in the NFL!

Yeah, Mcshay and Kiper sure are in love with the SEC. Anytime someone was drafted over an SEC guy, they would be flabberghasted, calling it a real reach. Especially if it was an offensive player from a spread offense.

irony is Tennesse's rb signed as a fa with Houston too. So JJ will compete with him for a roster spot

Biggest steal of all FA's in my opinion is by the Packers, LB out of Union College, Willie Williams.
