Sickening question

Post by Greydrake »

Turns my stomach to even need to consider this, however perception is critical to the leagues success...how many are rooting for UDUD to beat LSU in Seattle?

I just got a real nasty taste in my mouth...

How about LSU... 2-0?

The sainted one takes a knee in his own endzone, after his 17th sack?

I cannot stand either team, but I don't think I could ever root for Washington.

There is absolutely no way I will be rooting for Washington to win that game. That would be a disastrous start for the Sarkisian regime from an Oregon perspective.

how about it plays out like the Crapple Cup? all-around crappy game with the Washington kicker misses 3 FG's that could win it, and then LSU makes an FG after 8 OT's of pee-wee type football.

how about they win and finish 1-11? That would be awesome for the Pac 10 SEC argument!

I hate the Huskies but I hate LSU as well so I will root for the Huskies because them beating the Tigers makes the Ducks beat down of the Huskies look that much better!

As much as I dislike the SEC, I don't really mind LSU. Yes, their coach is an a$$, but I've never had a problem with them as a team. The teams in the SEC that I don't like are Tennessee and Florida. There's always been something about those two that have never made me like them.

I'd have to go with Dub only to stop the SEC from discounting our win against them. Bottom Pac 10 over any SEC is good for us & over LSU more than 200 miles from their home is even better. 1-11 Dub would be acceptable under these conditions. ( I know, Dub should win over Idaho also - even better if they lose to Idaho and beat LSU. )

Somehow that last line would make it seem platable.

So you are suggesting overlooking the entire season to concentrate on the LSU game, to the point that everyone else finds U-W to be a cakewalk...

Me likey!

I must confess that I will be rooting for the "Husky Purple" and "Husky Gold" rather than the "Purple" and "Gold" on that day.

Honestly, I feel that the Huskies have served the sentence for their crimes and should be granted a chance at regular civilian life like the rest of us.

Please wash your mouth out with soap. I hope the Hussies never win another game, ever! Now if the rodents could just manage to follow in the footsteps of their friends to the north life would be perfect.

There is no way on this earth would ever route for the Huskies especially in a non conference game. The only time and this is pretty much the only would ever route for the Huskies if was if they beat USC and knocked USC out of the Rose Bowl and put us in the Rose Bowl. They may have paid for their crimes but I can remember too many times in the 70's and 80's beating us.. and I can still remember them saying the Ducks did not belong in the Pac10. That was before New Weasel took over and before they got put on probation. I would rather see Oregon State beat the Huskies as dont hate Oregon State so much. Besides I dont really mind the SEC as a whole.. do I think they are better than the Pac10 not sure. Ask me in a few years after we play them some and will give ya an answer. I think its comparing apples to oranges. They are a defensive minded conference and the pac 10 is offensive. The old cliche is true... offens wins games... defense.. wins championships.

The problem with us never wanting the Huskies to win games is it makes the Ducks beating them no big deal (oh boy the Ducks beat a team that everyone else beat as well). I want the Beavers and Huskies to do well that way the Ducks beating them every year is even better. Also the more games the PAC-10 teams win the better it is for the Ducks when they beat them!
