If we're going to schedule "tough" OOC games I'd like to see us schedule someone more prominent, a team that will get some eyeballs on our program... I know we have Tenn and UGA in the next few years, I'd like to see more of that (not counting MSU hahaha)... Or another Big 12 team, or ACC team for that matter... Im glad we're kinda done with the Big 10 for a while (mich, purdont, msu, indiana, wisc). IMO we dont really have anything to gain from playing BSU...

I do think we will need to beat them 3 times before they will finally stop talking crap and respect Oregon.

I think this is such a bad idea. Whoever a few posts above me who said it was right. We have nothing to gain by playing BSU (other than helping the BCS from getting messed up). Also, with the way they've played us so far, I don't want our players to be taking that risk. Hopefully this year is a very different team than last years and hopefully Powers and Johnson are gone (although I don't think they are)

Ellis Powers is gone but Jeron Johnson is still there.

I like how we played Fresno State back and forth for quite a while. Made for some exciting games, and built a mini rivalry.

Seem like it would be fun to do the same with Boise State.

We just scheduled Nevada for our openning in 2011 so no BSU until 2014 at the soonest.

I would tend to agree that playing Boise State does not really benefit Oregon. It seems to benefit Boise State more than it does us. If they beat us they feel have legitimate case to be made to the BCS. If Oregon beats them.. it just shows that the Pac 10 much better conference which most everybody already agrees it is. The Boise State game is more of just a regional interest game that has lot more impact for Boise State than it does Oregon. I really do not have anything against them.. other than they beat us last year. and the way they went about it. If they would have won.. on an even playing field like they did against Oklahoma.. then would only respect them for playing a great game.
