top newcomer: lmj, d. jackson, chip kelly
i believe chip kelly will do a better job of getting the team
ready to play on game day. think they will play harder.
to many newcomers to really know who to pick with out seeing
them play. should be a great season...go ducks

Re: 2 weeks til gameday... (player predictions)
Fun thread, I look forward to winning the first prize Pony. Since most of the obvious picks like LMJ and Holland have been taken, I'll go for some Long Shots.
Offense: Ed Dickson. +50 catches +10 TDs, beats out Gronkowski for 1st team Pac10.
Defense: Brandon Blair. Most tackles and sacks by a UO DT since Ngata. He'll do this by running down plays from the backside and he'll use his speed and long reach to get clean up sacks by catching QBs flushed by our D-Ends.
Newcomer: I'd say LT but that is the popular pick while Gaines hasn't been mentioned much because he hasn't really practiced due to his injury. Wait ... I am going to wuss out on this last pick and go safe .. Jackson Rice will be the newcomer with the most starts by the end of the season.

I'm waiting for Malachi to do something big here, but being behind Dickson most his career has contributed to his lack of playing time. He was a really big recruit out of high school.

Sticking with my original predictions.
Crenshaw
Montgomery
Barner
I also think the WR group is going to get a lot of attention. But, the star of that group will rotate from week to week.
