Re: Ducks In On Large Package Deal
It looks like Oregon is the only team on all of their lists. Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma were only on a couple of their lists. I know things can change but it is nice to see the Ducks as a leader early on.

These "package deals" never pan out. There fun to talk about, but the reality is these kids will do what is best for them, not the package.

Re: Ducks In On Large Package Deal
Wouldn't that be something? As long as they all have us as HIGH on their lists there is always chance but I guess I would accept only a part of that package...you know if you pushed me
Great writeup mops thanks.

Re: Ducks In On Large Package Deal
With the way things are shaping up already I might actually be disappointed if we DON'T end up with a top 10 class. We are in on so many top guys and have 5x more interest from jr's then we did even last year. I am sure that it will easily be our best class ever and if we have another 10+ win season then the top 15 classes will continue to come and we'll be talked about with TX, OK, USC, LSU etc.

I love that name Trovon Reed, he just sounds like he's gonna be a great player just because his name is so cool.

Never say never. In 2004, Terrence Kelly was part of a multi-player package from De LaSalle HS that included Cam Colvin, Willie Glasper, and Jackie Bates... Kelly was the heart and soul of that group, and IMO, their developement suffered a huge set-back when he passed away. (That package was 3/4 star players and 1/5 star, BTW)Duckxing wrote:These "package deals" never pan out. Good point wounded. Its still so sad about TK. He definitely affected their production levels at Oregon, because like you said he was the glue of the group and seemed to be best friends with all of em.woundedknees wrote:Never say never. And don't forget about TJ Ward was part of that group but had to walk on...(was injured his SR year in HS and didn't get rated)woundedknees wrote:Never say never.
