O-line

Post by Tray Dub »

Definitely improved this week. They helped James get 150+ and protected Masoli pretty adequately most of the time. Hopefully they keep playing to their potential, because we all know they have talent. Today, they finally used it.

Protecting the ball and making better/quicker decisons in the passing game would go a long way to improving te performance of the O.

The O-line looked a lot better today, Masoli did not. The Ducks will be a lot better once Masoli is able to find the open receiver and the receivers catch the ball. I really think they need to roll Masoli out of the pocket on passing plays.

I never even noticed, but how was Thran and Keizer? Did they come back in?

Thran did, he walked off the field with a minor limp, and I saw him playing later.

As for Keizer, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure he didn't play after the injury.

That's great news about Thran. The Oline was really looking good before Keizer went down. Hopefully he's OK.

The second he went down, I knew we weren't going to convert those two yards we needed. UGH.

They were both back in by the end of the game. The O-line was better, still not great IMO.
