Overall this draft has gone rather as expected. A stellar top 2 followed by a lot of hits and misses.

Solid, but unspectacular progression from the 1st overall pick. Hopefully can continue to progress into the next great wing. The Knicks look to have a long term replacement to Ersan here.

Slightly concerning on the drop in the inside scoring of the 2nd overall pick. He still looks like a franchise cornerstone going forward but the apparent drop in potential isn’t the most inspiring sign. Doesn’t look ready to take over for Jrue Holiday but given his expiring contract, the line of succession looks well established.

Outstanding initial progression from the 3rd selection. If his progression continues the Pacers may well have found their Keystone in the post. Looks more than good enough to step into the post rotation (at worst #3 post) and contribute huge minutes to the Pacers this season. Honestly surprised the heck out of me and it looks like the Pacers hit a home run here.

First true concerning progression of the draft. Was touted as a win now prospect but really did not make the strides to really break out as a any more than a rotation option. Things could change going forward but as of now Collins has a lot of work left to do to prove himself.

Sufficient movement out of the 5th pick. The nuggets were looking for an outside sniper and appear to need to give Fergy more time to become a big contributor and unfortunately join the trend of Nugget underachievers mid lottery

Always a risk of drafting a teenager. You take the good with the bad with them. Sometimes they explode and sometimes they just progress their defense. As with every rookie there is plenty of time to turn things around but the progression did not inspire confidence.

The developing trend of late lottery picks having only moderate progression continues as the best shooter in the draft got better. His inside may limit his scoring pot.

Turn it up a notch and BAM! Not a lot of progression. I wish his progression matched how great his first name would have been for this bad joke. Unfortunately look destined to be buried in the back of the roster.

Batting .500 in the lottery the Nuggets look to have a starter here. Very solid progression and breaks the trend of disappointments in the late lottery. Summer league will certainly go far into determining just how bright his future is.

Flier at the end of the lottery and the it seems to have been a good gamble. Solid progression from inside and rebounding ability and certainly looks to be a solid contributor going forward.

Solid progression from the Oregon prospect. Hard to tell at this stage if this is a long term starter. One to watch in summer league.

This pick bounced between four teams before finally ending up in the hands of the Spurs. Probably the movement of the pick moving is going to be more than OG’s movement on the court will be.

Despite seeming to get lazy on his boxout during camp, Alkins looks to have made some solid progression in his form and his defensive positioning. Probably going to need a few years before he will challenge for any significant minutes on the deep suns but very solid first outing.

One of the best late picks of the draft. The former Aztec made great progression over the summer. Looks to be buried a little in the depth chart but certainly one to watch in a year or two.

Again we see solid development later in the 1st. Bumps in both defense and in rebounding showed some great progression. With so many young players on the Celtics he could be seeing some major minutes this season.

One is an anomaly, two is trend, and three means its happened time and time and time again. This run in the early 20s has seen some very solid progression. While he may never be a starter, a great finisher will always find a place in a post rotation. Looks like at worst Jeanne will have a nice long career as a #3 post man.
