Why wait until February? Why not sign now, any ideas?

It's interesting. There's some scuttle that we are still sourcing for a grad transfer QB if a top one becomes available. It would be interesting if the coaches were that open and forthright and he was willing to wait to sign but who knows.

I'm not sure. Probably wants to know who our OC and QB coach will be before he signs.

Apparently he has a good relationship with Darnell Washington.

A grad transfer QB would be interesting -- my guess is the staff wouldn't want to risk wasting Sewell's senior year (and possible Heisman campaign) on inexperienced guys who might not pan out... at the same time, though, Tyler Shough has looked pretty solid and I'd be a bit surprised if the coaches aren't willing to roll with him.

I certainly hope holding out for a grad transfer doesn't cost us a solid multi-year player.... but in CMC I trust.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

They were talking with Jordan Love supposedly before he declared for the draft, so I think it's only if someone high caliber wants to come in.

We won't go after a grad transfer if we get Ashford.

BTW, JHop is saying that they still expect Ashford to sign early.

Oregon announced it so he had to have signed his LOI. Maybe he meant he’s enrolling in February??

Nice. He's got a ton of potential. If he can improve his accuracy, then the sky is the limit with this kid.

Thanks Lane Kiffin!

interesting that they bring in a dual threat qb. Hope this signals a more
of an rpo type power offense. It they stay in the pistol god forbid having
a qb that they will let run really opens things up...
