I remember when Travis Waller aka Jonsen threw a 90 yard TD pass in this game. Everyone thought he would be the next star QB at Oregon.

One wonders if Sewell and Flowe will be in Ringo's ear. I would suspect they working on him. If he has signed his LOI then it probably would have zero impact. If it is just financial aid then maybe might have some sway.

He signed so it doesn’t matter who is in his earGoDucksIn09 wrote:One wonders if Sewell and Flowe will be in Ringo's ear. I would suspect they working on him. If he has signed his LOI then it probably would have zero impact. If it is just financial aid then maybe might have some sway.

Some people don’t think he’s signed.brich75 wrote:He signed so it doesn’t matter who is in his earGoDucksIn09 wrote:One wonders if Sewell and Flowe will be in Ringo's ear. Interesting, do you know what that is based off? I swear he tweeted out a picture suggesting he signed. Said something like “feels good to be” then a picture of a pen. I took that as signed.Phenom wrote:Some people don’t think he’s signed.brich75 wrote:He signed so it doesn’t matter who is in his earGoDucksIn09 wrote:One wonders if Sewell and Flowe will be in Ringo's ear. Theoretically could be just financial aid report. He has wanted to keep it quiet. I have no idea. Someone did suggest was just a financial aid form.

It's sounding more and more like he didn't sign at either UGA or UO. So there is a good chance he hasn't signed at all.brich75 wrote:He signed so it doesn’t matter who is in his earGoDucksIn09 wrote:One wonders if Sewell and Flowe will be in Ringo's ear. That has to be good for Oregon... Since most believed he was Georgia’s to losebuckmarkduck wrote:It's sounding more and more like he didn't sign at either UGA or UO. I have no idea how reliable the poster is on 247, so take it for what it's worth. But there is a poster there saying Ringo is in Eugene this weekend.

Isn't bowl season a dead period, no in person contacts?

I think so, but would it still apply if a recruit had already signed?maxduck wrote:Isn't bowl season a dead period, no in person contacts?

This has to be fake news, if it was real I would think it would be blowing up over the twitter!SuperDuck wrote:I think so, but would it still apply if a recruit had already signed?maxduck wrote:Isn't bowl season a dead period, no in person contacts?

Just read up on the NCAA recruiting rules via their official website. It is indeed currently the dead period. Because it is the dead period, it would mean that it is impermissible to allow prospective student athletes on campus (in either an official or unofficial capacity). So unless I’m mistaken in my interpretation, this would mean one of three possible things: 1.) Ringo is on campus, has not signed, and we are thus in violation of NCAA rules. 2.) Ringo is on campus and has previously and officially signed with us. 3.) Ringo is not on campus and this is indeed fake news.

So was anybody ever able to confirm anything regarding Ringo being in Eugene? You can tell without a subscription that the thread for it was locked on Scoopduck and the other thread for it on Duck Territory is now missing (probably deleted) so guessing it's probably much ado about nothing.
