Re: Quack: Manning’s a duck
By the praise coming out of practice this week, he will be a 5*.

Looks like Washington signed also, with Georgia. Probably means we can stop wondering about Ringo as well

Washington never visited and was a super long shot. Ringo has visited. All the smoke is still for Georgia, but better odds than Washington, imo.squintsdd wrote:Looks like Washington signed also, with Georgia. Probably means we can stop wondering about Ringo as well

Washington visited during the summer, and wanted to come on an official visit during the season. But after he screwed up Mario passed on him.wepto wrote:Washington never visited and was a super long shot. Ringo has visited. Re: Quack: Manning’s a duck
I'm only the 10th person to post on this topic and he committed like five hours ago? I feel like everyone is really sleeping on Dontae Manning. Is everyone just still hungover from that fine win yesterday? This is an ELITE recruit here folks. Highest rated DB we've ever gotten and is so for a reason. He's a long strider with excellent speed. He has extremely fluid hips and great ball skills. He's a polished receiver and he could even play that position in college. He's 6 feet, 185 pounds and definitely appears to have room to comfortably carry 200 pounds without sacrificing any agility. When I watch his tape he reminds me an awful lot of Cliff Harris, but Dontae is just much bigger. Imagine cliff at like 6'1, 205 lbs. I think that's what we're getting in Dontae Manning.
Welcome aboard young man!
Imagine that defensive backfield next year if everyone comes back
At safety Breeze, Holland, Pickett, Bennett Williams
At corner Graham, Lenoir, Wright, Manning, D.J. James, Luke Hill
That's INSANE!!!!

Re: Quack: Manning’s a duck
I think a lot of the reason for that is because people already knew he had signed back on the early signing day. It wasn't officially made public, but if you follow these boards, it was basically spelled out that it was a done deal. Either way, it doesn't change the caliber of player he will be and I am excited to have him on board, to see what he brings to the table.SteelTown43 wrote:I'm only the 10th person to post on this topic and he committed like five hours ago?

I assume they are referencing the incident where Washington punched/shoved (depending on how you view it) his coach.nogerO wrote:Screwed up??? Didn't he punch another player or something stupid like that?nogerO wrote:Screwed up???
