It’s Nikos Galis
I was also stumped and looked for a “best players that never played in the NBA “ article. Galis was #7 FYI, mostly behind street ball legends and players that passed away young.
Galis was top scorer in euro league like 8x and was from New Jersey (see hint in earlier post).
