QUACK! 2022 ATH Anthony Jones commits

3* ATH (TE/DL/LB) Anthony Jones is the newest commit and signee for Oregon in the 2022 class. He's another former UW commit who has signed with the Ducks. Have to credit Don Johnson for maintaining contact with him and his HS teammate, Duck signee Sir Mells, for talking up Oregon enough so he'd flip from Texas.

He should be rated a bit higher. He's a full 6'5, 240+, and ran a 4.73 electric timed 40. That's upper tier size/athleticism, but he's got good instincts, too. I have a hard time imagining him not seeing a lot of meaningful snaps at Oregon/Power 5 level, even if it's down the road.

I think DL agrees, he has mentioned multiple times now about player development. Dude with his size and speed could be turned into a monster in the field with great coaches
