Well I had made the most humorous and inciteful post the board has seen in years in that thread, but this will give someone else a chance to win the post of the year award. I have already won all the prize ponies I can care for.

Heard a rumor that Martin might commit soon. Also saw Dillingham made an offer to 6-4 WR Arlis Boardingham. Seems like activity is picking up.

Not really a rumor, as Martin posted it himself one Twitter earlier in the week. He’s announcing tomorrow.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm also wondering if Oregon is in it for Christian Gonzalez. That seems like potential instant improvement in the secondary. I guess he was at the Alamo Bowl, so maybe something going on with him.

We’ll see what happens with Martin’s son, he had that commitment date before his dad’s hiring, but it would be surprising if he doesn’t follow.

I’d love to get Cristian Gonzalez, instant improvement is needed. We’ve got raw talent there and a lot of questions. Avante Dickerson did prevent a TD by pulling a face mask, but that’s not a sound strategy for the long term.
